Our euphoria continued into the flight from Amsterdam airport, however, no ammount of scotch therapy could cushion the impact of having to watch Forrest Gump on the way back! That fact combined with a 7 hour stop-over waiting for a connecting flight left us in a mood only a shade darker than the Paris-experience. But all was forgiven as we dropped to the tarmac at Melbourne, Australia, "Pope-style" and kissed the oily runway - savouring the flavour of a wonderful place we call home.  The End
